There are two opportunities to sit IGCSE, International GCSE and A-/AS-level examinations every year.
- Examinations with Cambridge International Examinations (CIE) take place in May/June and October/November.
- Examinations with Pearson Edexcel take place in January and May/June.
When to register
The two examination boards have different registration dates. Please check the table below to find the best option for you or your institution.
Cambridge International Examinations (CIE) – May/June examinations:
- Registration opens: 1 December 2013
- Registration deadline: 23 January 2014
Pearson Edexcel – May/June examinations:
- Registration opens: 20 January 2014
- Registration deadline: 10 February 2014
