The British Council has been working with Palestinian English teachers for five years on how they can make learning English fun and encourage creativity and critical thinking through the use of stories.

This work continues in August with three courses for teachers. From 8 to 11 of August, teachers from UNRWA Gaza Strip will join training led by Nick Bilbrough, from ‘Hands Up Project’, and from 20 to 25 August teachers from Ministry of Education and Higher Education schools in the West Bank will receive training based on the ‘Stories Alive’ resource book and further activities for the classroom.
