The Higher Education partnership programme between the British Council, three British Universities including: University of Salford, University of South Wales, Coventry University and six participating Palestinian Higher Education Institutions including: Birzeit University, Bethlehem University, Hebron University, Palestine Polytechnic University, An Najar University, Al Quds University, aims to enable colleagues working within Palestinian Higher Education Institutions to develop policy frameworks, pedagogical practices and the wider supporting student engagement structures towards embedding entrepreneurial and entrepreneurial skills and abilities in students.
The second phase of the project will take part from 20 – 24 August 2017 in which the partner British Universities will visit Occupied Palestinian Territories and hold workshops which focus on fine-tuning the universities’ project plans which support the progress toward a sustainable shared Higher Education agenda focused on building entrepreneurial capability and capacity towards embedding sustainable change in the region for the 21st century.
