On the occasion of International Day for Persons with Disabilities on 3 December, and as part of our training of trainers programme in animation, we have arranged for five deaf students from the Total Communication Schools at the Palestine Red Crescent Society to present their art works and communicate their skills as trainers. They acquired these skills during participation in a three-year training of trainers programme in animation organised by the British Council and the PRCS.
Inclusion matters: access and empowerment for people of all abilities
Organised by UNRWA's Relief and Social Services Department, in partnership with the Ministry of Social Affairs and the Ministry of Education and Higher Education, this event aims to empower students and facilitate their interaction with policy makers and specialists on disability issues to promote new opportunities for employment, inclusion and leadership.
