Every year more than 2,500 teachers and educators attend the 500 talks, workshops and symposia at this annual conference.
Britain’s second largest city, Birmingham, will host this year’s conference from April 12-16. Two forums will take place on our work on English teaching and learning with partners in Palestine.
Teacher trainers from Palestine, UNRWA and the UK will give three presentations in a forum on context-specific teacher training and in another forum on using available technology with learners and teachers in challenging environments, featuring British Council work in Palestine, Iraq, Libya and Pakistan.
For those unable to attend, many of the presentations, workshops and discussions will be live online or available after the event on the British Council’s IATEFL Online website.
